The "Mandarin" returns

It's been a while since we seen the actor Trevor Slattery in action. Last performing act was his role posing as the terrorist called the Mandarin all the way back in Iron Man 3. After spending his time in a dungeon as we discovered in Shang Chi: The legend of the ten rings He decides to finally move back to Los Angeles. We also meet a new character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Simon Williams portrayed by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II , seemingly a normal guy that just wants to be an actor. And we learn within a few minutes that he is struggling. He finally got a role as a dayplayer on one of the bigger TV-shows in the world but he gets fired for doing too much. He is asking so many questions that there is no time left to actually shoot the scene. He decides to go to the movies to get relaxed. This is where he meets Trevor who mentions he is going to do a big audition for a Von Kovak movie. A well known director in the Marvel Sacred Timeline Universe.

Wonderman remake

Trevor mentions to Simon that the movie he is auditioning for is a remake of Wonderman. Simon's favorite superhero as a kid. We embark on a journey of 8 episodes to discover if Simon Williams does have what it takes to become Wonderman in this movie. It's not an action packed series. It's not a matter of life and death. It's about a guy doing everything he can to make is his passion in to a paycheck. While having to carry a secret that when exposed will prevent him from ever carrying out this profession again. It's a slow but steady pacing series every episode progresses the story properly even the fourth episode about Demar Doorman Davis. Wich explains to us why exposing Simon's secret will end his career for good. These episode are fun too see but it's far from a must watch. Will we see Wonderman return?. Probably. Will we see him return in Avengers Doomsday ?. I don't think so. Will Wonderman be A villain or a hero?
